Apparently he keeps an eye on the house , i don’t actually know which one it is but the big Mack visited a few years ago with the family and there was a lot of security driving around the area .
John Barnes lives along the other way and Paul ince is a regular in the pub along the road , to be fair , barnes is a regular bloke but it’s obvious ince misses the big time . There’s a few other of them but I’ve no idea as I’ve always been a motorsport guy .

Just landed from Mexico City where I was sitting 3 rows behind Tom Jones.
We had to wait for his highness to board the plane before anyone else was allowed to board( do celebrities always get this kind of treatment on BA?)
He arrived to the gate late from the lounge. This on a flight that was already 2 hours late.
Ergo, he’s a tosser

It’s not unusual…We had to wait for his highness to board the plane before anyone else was allowed to board (do celebrities always get this kind of treatment on BA?)

Many years ago when I was in my early twenties I was working in a coffee shop in Canada. It was a weekend morning and the place was pretty dead (financial district) so it was just my workmate and I hanging around being quite bored.
A female customer, probably in her fifties, came in to get a coffee. She was friendly and outgoing and we bantered about this and that for a while. For some reason we got on to the subject of pillow fights and I jokingly told her that she looked like she enjoyed a good pillow fight. We joked on a bit and eventually she went to get her coffee.
The next thing I knew, my workmate asked if she wouldn't mind taking a photo with him. She gladly obliged. I had no idea who our friendly customer was so I asked.
"I'm Jamie-Lee Curtis", she replied.

Can't remember if I posted this before, but my mum worked for Murray Walker and my dad was offered a job by Hesketh racing (but turned it down).
My ex (and late) business partner did jail time for selling two of Alex Hesketh's companies without telling him, and pocketing the cash.Nick Forest said:
My mum used to make the costumes for Pans People (TOTP) and knocked out half a dozen costumes every week for 12 years and all done from the kitchen table in our little house in Kent.
That wouldnt've taken your mum long though, from the memory of a 7 year old Pans People didn't have costumes giving, er, extensive coverage Skii said:

My wifes friend's partner's cousin (bear with me here), is a member of Squeeze, cant remember which one though.
My colleague Lee at work in the office is Queen bassist John Deacon's cousin.Says he's only seen him a few times over the years at family do's and he's not exactly an extrovert character. (John, not Lee..)
Tenuous enough?

Pretty tenuous. But early in this thread there was a link so tenuous (to a member of Duran Duran I think) as to be almost non-existent. I think that’s the standard we are aiming at. "It's good...but its not riiiight"
