Newspaper headlines such as this:

'Mother left with horrific leg burns after spilling boiling cup of McDonald’s tea that she claims did not have the lid fitted on'

Source: The fking Mail - what else!

In what fking way is the fact she has three kids relevant to the story (other than perhaps highlighting that people as stupid as her are able to breed)?

All that jazz

People with massive rucksacks and no spatial awareness whirling around like evil dervishes in busy shops.

Their research is getting poor, I need to know how much her house is worth before I can judge her properly.

I think consumers should be able to reasonably expect that spilling coffee won't result in third degree burns (as would be the case for almost any other coffee vendor following previous cases involving McDonalds).

Oh look one newspaper has a different reporting style from another, that's a surprise.

The worst of it is, the mother of three may not have read (if she could read) the warning on the cup - "CAUTION HOT LIQUID!"

Well, duh! Should I be served cold liquid when I ordered a hot liquid?

Arse covering.

And before anyone mentions it. Yes McDonald's were once used for hot coffee, but it was so hot that it was dangerous, and undrinkable, and they had had several warnings before the infamous case, where a woman suffered 3rd degree burns to her groin. Owch!

On the same lines. People with massive pushchairs that are wider than a car trying to get into a small village shop and then tut because people are 'in the way'.

Two sets of traffic lights within 40 yards of each other where the first set goes to green and the second set doesn't - until, that is, you've come to a fking stand.

Councils! We don't all drive like old ladies. We would actually like to keep up a bit of momentum whilst out on the road without having to stop for your stty mis-timed traffic lights!

Likewise, roundabouts with lights that arnt synconized properly so the whole thing just gets jammed up.

Never seen a roundabout with lights that actually works better than one without.

This thread does seem to go round in circles a bit (no pun intended). Either that or nobody reads anything that I post.

I never need to look in my post box to know if the postman's been. I simply need to spot the discarded brown rubber band on the driveway.

Take them back to the depot & re-use them!!

From the mail I am a little surprised there wasn't a statement from an estate agent about how this will result in house prices increasing (including several charts).

Agree.

With the amount of money that's been thrown, and still is being thrown, at Africa over the last 30 years - they should be living better than WE fking do by now.

It´s peanuts, these countries were plundered of their economic values (materials, resources, manpower etc) for 300+ years,

then torn apart by borders drawn on tables, thereby creating social unrest which still is behind lots of modern conflicts.

The western civilisation is built on exploiting the 3rd world

and the little money that is "thrown" (like in a beggar´s hat) gets back to them even now.

No 1st world country could pay back the cost if real bills were ever presented.
