Now I like Carol Kirkwood, weather girl on the BBC, but why does she insist on pronouncing 'land' as 'Lind'? Scotlind, Englind etc, it's slightly irritating and now I've mentioned it you'll notice it and it'll get on your tits too. You're welcome wink
I like to watch Carol's forecasts first thing in the mornings too. What get to me is when utter 'Charlieannaga' or billansian at the end. Took me ages to understand what she was saying.

Dermot's OK. But I'll give you Patrick Kielty, one of the most over confident, cocky, unfunny pricks - ever.

He rarely comes onto my radar screen so I don't normally think about him. But when he does it annoys me more that he is married to Cat Deeley. Lucky bugger.

And adding 10db to the word "thousand". You can see them getting ready when they spot it coming up on the autocue.

fking rocket science! I'm fking fed up of people saying that.

Surely it shouldn't be brain surgery to think up a new cliche?
I've often wondered what rocket scientists say when explaining something that is not that difficult ?

Any thoughts

I would hope, that, being clever people, they would say that it was 'easy'. Two syllables, four letters, meaning conveyed, job done.

People who walk up and down the office practicing Golf swings...

People who walk up and down the office sucking the ear end bit of the arm on a pair of glasses attempting to look "thoughtful"...

People in fast food restaurants who leave all their st on the table despite signs specifically asking for customers to dispose of it in the bins provided. This means either the staff who are busy serving have to come and do it or customers have to move it before sitting down. The majority of the time, you have to walk past the bin to leave anyway, tts mad

I'd hope for something similar to the sign on our office wall - 'It's not that I can't explain it, it's that you just wouldn't understand.'.

I suspect she's a high maintenance PITA too so they're probably well suited.

Well they were talking out of their arse. Ask them to try figuring out the most fuel efficient route to the moons of Jupiter on the back of an envelope and see how they get on.
