Anything that is pretty normal but is prefixed by the word "artisan" to make it appear more hip. I'm particularly thinking of "Artisan Coffee" in trendy Shabby Chic / reclaimation / upcycling shops. So you have a coffee machine and you make coffee for customers. That doesn't make it "artisan".
I'm with ya. I used to work near this place. Artisans? isans more like.

To me 'Artisan' = 'Overpriced'

The media's apparent inability to correctly identify aircraft when reporting on something
Yesterday it was an article on Harrison Ford's crash where a pic captioned as being one of Ford's other aircraft, a DHC-2 Beaver, was actually a Cessna 182T
Today it was the solar powered 'Solar Impulse 2' aircraft being described as a single seater, despite the article then going on the name the TWO people onboard
It's not just aircraft either - the 'media studies' graduates who seem to run things seem to have troble identifying anything which lies outside their very limited experience. Sadly gone are the days when you had specialised reporters who actaully knew something about what they were reporting on
It's not as if it is difficult these days to identify something via Google
Completely agree with you. Yesterday it was an article on Harrison Ford's crash where a pic captioned as being one of Ford's other aircraft, a DHC-2 Beaver, was actually a Cessna 182T

And this is exactly why I don't trust the media to report anything correctly Yesterday it was an article on Harrison Ford's crash where a pic captioned as being one of Ford's other aircraft, a DHC-2 Beaver, was actually a Cessna 182T
Today it was the solar powered 'Solar Impulse 2' aircraft being described as a single seater, despite the article then going on the name the TWO people onboard

There was a cracker on Reporting Scotland today; a story about a USAAF B17 crashing on its delivery flight in poor visibility and the addition of the names of the deceased aircrew to the local war memorial, all illustrated with some footage of what looked suspiciously like a Republic XF12. A very interesting aeroplane but other than being made of metal and having 4 engines has little in common with the B17.Yesterday it was an article on Harrison Ford's crash where a pic captioned as being one of Ford's other aircraft, a DHC-2 Beaver, was actually a Cessna 182T

Like 'exclusive', 'cultured' and 'sophisticated'.
Nice when someone else says it, but not on the list of things you can say yourself.

People who have a "corridor meeting" right next to my desk. Piss right off and get a meeting room, you inconsiderate tts.
Due to a current lack of meeting room availability, many meetings are currently being held at a round table <2m from my desk.
Honestly, I can hardly concentrate on PH. AND - if I dare to get up and go for a pee / get a coffee, someone bloody nicks my chair.
Grr.

It's rude, obnoxious, confrontational, lacking in social skills and just plain unpleasant. Furthermore, in the case of opinion rather than fact, completely invalid as well.

For the same reason that they misappropriated the term "hacker"; they're moronic cock-ends.
This - they seem to be unable to describe anyone with the slightest competency with computers as anything other than a hacker or a geek Their sole job is to use language to convey information, and they have the full richness of the English language available to them, but that is all they can come up with
