But the middle is deeper and therefore colder, so it shrinks.

As any hydrologist will tell you the water in the middle of a river flows faster because it doesn't experience friction from the banks so there is always a flow gradient from the edges of the stream to the centre.

I but non-ron formal shirts for work, cos they're bloody good these days, and so much better than ironing.

However, they all seem to shrink a bit after a little while, most noticeably in the sleeves, which can be annoying.

Much, much more annoying however, is the one I accidentally bought slightly too big, and too long in the arms. Didn't bother returning it as I thought 'it'll shrink, just like all the rest, and fit just right'.

Did it shrink? Did it fk. Grrr.
People that can't type for st on a phone annoy me beyond reason. Especially when they post it without checking what they've written.

Last month I attended a meeting at which a town planner was present. For almost an hour I was presented with an explanation of the problems facing our little town and his ideas for tackling them. His far-reaching proposals included a list of on-trend themes such as sustainable development, integrated public transport and increased accessibility for bicycles. For the best part of sixty minutes he sat, wearing bellend fking sandals, and evangelically outlined the proposals he would be doing his level fking best to force through.

Though the town has existed for hundreds of years, weathering storm, war and recession, this meddlesome little prick has identified how it should be improved. It was, in fact, doing perfectly well by itself, thank you very much. So who is he? Long-standing resident perhaps? Family with history in the area? Nope – he rocked up here two fking years ago from the other end of the country. If the interfering little st didn’t like what he found when he got here, why didn’t he fk right off back whence he came?

Tonight, I think I’ll pop next door and rearrange the furniture. Oh, hang on, no I won’t, because that would be the complete fking height of absolute fking cheek.

I fking, fking, fking, fking, fkING hate people who do this.

Not sure but with Henley regatta being so popular, it might be so that it is shaped more like a boat?

The fact that the British Army is not being used to patrol our borders, stop Every lorry and conduct a search for illegal immigrants. then force them back to where they came from at Gunpoint if necessary.

I get the impression a lot of people in the UK think they can identify the difference between an illegal immigrant and a legal immigrant on sight. And I suspect they think the definition should be based on skin colour.

Sounds like the sort of people that buy a house by a race track then complain about the noise.

Well I don't see any white ones on those boats from Libya or at the port of Calais I went through recently, call it what you bloody well like, if there are a bunch of people hidden away in the back of a lorry they are trying to get into the UK illegally. FACT... Use the bloody Army, round them up and send them back.

It really is hard to figure out why so many young people get radicalised given they are confronted with blind hatred and racism against people who look like they do. People who have a shared history and possibly present. Why when confronted with that attitude from "the natives" would they consider hanging out with people who are kind towards them, and telling them it's not their fault they feel rejected by society (which it isn't), but the fault of "the west" (which it is, as demonstrated by fatboy18). It's a total mystery I tell you. I guess we'll never get to the bottom of that one.

Send them back to where? As most of them destroy any ID papers they are effectively stateless.

yadda yadda

People fleeing from terror are fine - however most of the young men at Calais and Romanians presently here are seeking to take advantage of Britain's Welfare State. Someone's selling them the UK as a soft touch and they fall for it, thinking by the time they get here they have a God given right to help themselves.

Unless they can prove they're legitimate asylum seekers they should be kicked out.

Calais, if that's where they came from.

Indeed. But suggesting we need the military to do that, and to kick them out before deciding if they are legitimate, but rather based on how they look, which is in essence what's being suggested. That's no way to behave.

The way our general population reacts to people who look a certain way, or have a certain accent, IS what radicalises people born here, never mind those who genuinely deserve asylum. But it pisses me off that significant sections of the general population are to thick to see that, and instead decides that we should show them more images of hatred towards people who look like they do. That by making both sides distrust each other more through violent imagery, will in some way help our society bond together. It's genuine cutting off of the nose to spite the face stuff. Use the army to stop one illegal immigrant from being processed properly and then denied entry, and help to create a violent radical from within in our own society. It's a genius plan worthy of the full support of IS.

Thinking that radicalisation is a result of how illegal immigrants are treated is beyond naive.
