I don't watch tennis.

Yesterday, on the BBC Breakfast news, it was clear Serena Williams was expected to win her final. This morning, it turned out she had won, and her victory was 'amazing'. The 'amazing' word cropped up more than once.
Women's tennis annoys me - in large part due to Serena Williams. In men's tennis, there are four main contenders: Djokovic, Federer, Nadal and Murray. In women's tennis there is one woman, who is twice the size of everyone else, built like a bloke and wipes the floor with everyone. Makes it dull (and they only play three sets).

Offshore call centres wasting my time at work asking when the energy contract is being renewed.

I told the last one...

'One of the Directors has a very bright 11 year old son, he has built a fully functioning fusion reactor so we are now self sufficient for electricity but thankyou for your call'

Fat people jumping into swimming pools. FFS, have some decorum. If I were in the habit of displacing THAT much water every time I jumped into the pool I'd be seriously embarrassed!

Old fashioned names for children in an attempt to be a bit 'different'

School photos nowadays look like a line up for a 1920's FA Cup final, with all the Alfies/Archies/Berts/Reggies/Sidneys and Stanleys.

Keira Knightley. shoot

Every movie she does I find her very irritating.
Partly it's her fake posh English accent. I saw her interviewed after Bend It Like Beckham and she sounded like every other Londoner comprehensive educated bird.

Yes she's pretty. But I just can't get past her acting ability and voice.
YES!!. Her voice and occasionally her acting destroyed any hope I had of enjoying Pirates of the Caribbean. Cringe worthy.
For me it's the 'aren't I thin" thing, and "oooh, what a lot of teeth I've got" thing.
Haha, SWMBO hates Keira because she has "Evil Teeth"! I find her rather pleasant on the eyes wink

People spelling their names weirdly. Watching the credits to something last night I saw someone listed with their first name as "Androo". Seriously? Does this reflect inability to spell on the part of the parents, or some media-type looking for attention? Or is it just me, and these things are "evolving"?

Just been talking to a mate about this today. An ex colleague has just had a child. Despite being named "Edward George", he is being introduced to everyone as "Teddy".

The child is 2 days old.

fking hipsters.

People who seem to think the pick up/drop off point outside supermarkets is their own personal parking spot.
Despite the fact there is a whole car park next to them with 100's of empty spaces.

Only time I see names spelled like that is if they are in the porn industry.

Keira does have a rather unfortunate habit of jutting her chin out. Pretty lady but it doesn't look good when she does it.

Serena has only been beaten more than once by one of the current top ten players. That is Maria Sharapova (who is 18/2 down)
