This won't win me any friends... but...
I like being an office ahole. Boil a full kettle, so it takes ages. During that time, half a dozen people would come in and prep their mugs, then go out of the kitchen with the expectation that I'd top everyone's mugs up and they will come in and collect them when they see me leave.
The joy of filling my own mug, then emptying the rest down the sink, and leaving a kettle full of cold water, switched off at the wall, is hard to explain. But it makes me giggle, and makes them swear at me.
I do this ! But I work at home .....................on my own ................. I like being an office ahole. Boil a full kettle, so it takes ages. If you only boil one cup, it wouldn't take so long and you would get the same result.

Idiots on TV quiz shows.
Just saw a question that was - 'Who's real name is destiny hope?
Miley Cyrus
Katy Perry
Jennifer Aniston.
The guy answering said 'I know Miley Cyrus' dad is called Billy Ray Cyrus, but I'm not sure if that's his real name so it can't be Miley Cyrus and so I'll say it's Jennifer Aniston .
How does that logic work?

Simple things which are crap at what they are supposed to do
An example - prompted by an observation by a friend, I compared five 30cm rulers I own
Four agreed on the cm scale while the fifth was around 2mm short
Three agreed on the imperial scale, but two were around 1/8" too short
what did you use to measure it and how did you know it was correct? An example - prompted by an observation by a friend, I compared five 30cm rulers I own

He said that he compared them! Whilst showing up the shortcomings of the rulers it does not give any indication which, if any, of the rulers is 'correct,!
Fitting with the 'beyond reason' title, but really winding me up recently:
John Bishop, in his own show, and any number of 'Live at the Apollo' hosts asking:
'Are you ready for the next act?', almost without variation, between every single bloody act.
1. They are all sat in the theatre, expecting to be entertained. What do you fking think?
2. If you really must say something then please, for the love of God, try and vary it a bit.
