Same as the people taking their own photos of world-famous monuments like the Eiffel Tower or the Taj Mahal if you ask me. What's the point?

There are already countless better photographs of these places taken by better photographers on better cameras freely available.
Because it would have me or someone I know in the picture, not some random stranger.

And:

"Look this is where I went on my hols"
"Ooh, great pic!"
"Yeah I know, I didn't take it, I just found it on the 'net"
"Um, ok".
See 'Q' magazine every month. Photos of readers being somewhere exotic, reading the magazine.

That's the kind of personal attention so often lacking in hospitality today.
At least he stuck it up his OWN arse.

Bloody customers and their 'always right' attitudes.

I've just had some tt send back his breakfast because the egg was 'touching the beans', boo hoo! fking hipster wker.

While frying him another egg, I stuck my finger up my arse and wiped it along his sausage.
Never ever send anything back. Many chefs have brown fingers.

Can't quite see how he managed to touch his sausage in a public place.

someone will be along with more definitive info but I think there is a time limit that will erase your old 8.1 files and settings etc.

You could try asking in the Win10 thread. I might even tell you the answer. evil

You can yeah. Open up the Windows 10 settings, go into update and there's a "roll back to 8.1" option. Valid for 30 days after install I think.

If its the internet on windows 10 thats really slow, google Windows 10 slow internet, the solution will pop up. Its something to do with network sharing being on.

I couldn't download anything (would get to 20mb or so and then stop) until I altered the settings. Improves things rapidly.

If its the OS, can't say I have noticed but then my system is a monster gaming rig so the OS could use 8GB of ram and I wouldn't notice.

Windows 10 has an issue with Page/swap space when using multiple partitions/discs after the last set of updates.

Guessing you have a "HP Tools" partition/drive mapped, as well as a standard C/D?

You need to turn off "Automatically Manage" and either manually set, or set to machine managed for the one drive you use.

Control panel > search "performance" > Select "Adjust the appearance and performance of windows" > advanced tab > "change" > uncheck "automatically manage" > Reboot the PC.

My HP Elitebook went from taking 15 minutes to open control panel, to it all being instant.

The way people hold e-cigarettes / personal vaporiser devices like that are playing an oboe.

Also that it's still deemed acceptable for these to be used anywhere.

On my father's knee. He did a great impression of the Goons song. I still have his original 78rpm vinyl disc of this.
