Coffee tables generally, kills space not in a good way, collects dust and crap.
Especially ones with sharp corners, they are just threatening background stress for trips to the bathroom.
If no coffee table, where does one put ones....coffee on

The current trend for dropping the letter 't'. Seriously driving me mad on radio, television and at work. Example: the number '40' is pronounced "forty", not "for-y". Why are people incapable of pronouncing the 't'??
Its OK, they are being used "oop North", but THEY drop the rest of the word e.g."Im off down t'pub"..so it evens itself out.

The current Nissan Pulsar advert.

The driver is so incompetent that he almost drives into the back of someone, but then his Emergency Brake Assist kicks in and saves him. He looks surprised, then smug.

Sadly, this is probably indicative of many drivers on the road today.

They are the core market for driverless cars

Heinz "Salad Cream" - what poor people have instead of mayonnaise.

The choice of ccensoredts and peasants.
In defence of Salad Cream, I should point out that it is quite a bit sharper than mayonnaise, and therefore different as opposed to cheaper (which it is). It's quite possible to find both in the same domestic establishment, including those where the difference in cost is not a problem.

It was war food. Dried whole eggs rather than fresh yolks. People got used to it. So it's fair enough if the elderly like it, less comprehensible in the young.

Not that you can get real mayonnaise in the shops anyway, it's all rapeseed at best. Boils my piss that I have to make it myself if I want any, but that's not beyond reason.

Putting the milk bottle/carton on the table...
Eating biscuits from the packet...
Squashing peas into mash made from a packet with your fork then dipping that into ketchup.

It matters not whether the person who likes it is old or young, rich or poor, the two are different.

Following a car that then decides to wash the windscreen. No problem there but what is annoying is that their jets are so piss poorly angled that they just go straight over theirs and gives tiny splatter marks on yours causing you to clean your windscreen that then smears AGGGHHH!

It's not the angle, it's the fact that over a certain speed they spray into the airflow that goes over the car, although i'm sure some probably have a poor angle.

There are a few care homes near where I live, one of the residents can often be found in the same spot, near a local supermarket, he waits patiently for the right car to come along and then chases it for a while.
I saw him the other day, drove past and........he completely ignored me and chased after the car behind me.
I've never been so insulted, what the hell is wrong with my car?

Also saw a bloke having an argument with a stereo last night, doesn't annoy me, just thought it was a bit weird.

But if you mix it with curry powder it makes the best dip for plain crisps known to mortal man. And sufficient reason to keep a bottle to hand.

The 'immigrant crisis' is annoying me - but likely not as much as, say, the people of Lebanon or Syria.

It's just that it's been years in the making and then - bam! - it's crisis time!! Up until now it was another unpleasant event (like Ukraine partition) we'd get bored of eventually, but after some suitably emotive imagery suddenly the elected leaders can act. Nice planning guys. Good job you had it all planned...

I'm annoyed by the way the Government's strategy of trying to keep people from leaving Syria etc is being shouted down by the media who are feasting on the immigrant crisis, complete with apparently heart-wrenching pictures.

Like him or hate him, Cameron is in a no-win situation here. Hand-wringing tree huggers will always have the upper hand. No mention is made of the hundreds of kids who had already drowned over the past few months. It's like they never existed.

They don't. Because they don't appear in any photos, they don't exist. It's only when anything is splashed in the media (be it this or something else) does it then exist.

There's a George Orwell "1984" story here somewhere

I think he's doing alright - yes the media are frothing at the mouth, but as we saw in the election result, the quiet majority's views are often far away from the noisy media's.
