As a porker, the facts are this. Fat people need two things. Education and discipline. They don't need excuses making for them and nor do the need sympathy.
The choice of this year's "celebrity guy" to be burned by Edenbridge Bonfire Society was explained by Society member, Jon Mitchell,
Mr Mitchell said other public opinion polls pointed towards Scottish National Party Leader Alex Salmond - who was the planned effigy in Sussex - and Katie Hopkins, a former contestant on The Apprentice, whose effigy was burnt by the Kent-based society last year.
Mr Mitchell said: "It was a difficult one to decide as there was no clear favourite. We eliminated people one by one and were left with Jose" (Manuel Barroso, former European Commission President).
"There were a lot of people who wanted us to burn Katie Hopkins again but she's put all that weight on so building her would have been a lot of extra work"

The experiment was flawed though, she exercises regularly so goes into it with a huge advantage than people who have been sitting on their arses for years. She hasn't had to get past that massive hurdle of starting to exercise for the first time since school for dome people (admittedly she could provide a cure for Ebola and I would still find a way to despise her.)Putting on weight and dropping it off to prove its easy, that's brilliant.

I'm no fan of hers, but she is quite right on fat people. It isn't "your metabolism", you don't have a special gland that makes you a greedy bd, you just eat too much food. You don't even need to exercise, just stop stuffing your face with cake and wait.
