That cheered me up...

This didn't... I can not get insurance for my current business plan... I need to attach my self to an established marina so I have a base to work from... 100% mobile won't wash.
Looks like my self employed days are over for now.

To steal from Top Gear

Good news! my failed business cost me nearly £10k in savings... BUT I will have come out the other side poorer but still 100% debt free

How many failed business owners can claim that?! woohoo

Well if I'm stuck in Medway a bit longer, when in Rome an all that... where's the nearest dole office?

Chim I can still do the work if you want but it will in no way be an official business deal...

I was rather busy over the weekend so have only caught up with the thread today - bloody hell you guys managed some serious posting! It's taken me nearly all day to catch up!

It has been a great start to the week.

Jobs are like busses, you don't get a job for months and then offered two within a matter of days. I had a call over the weekend, saying that I could start a temp contract, possibly for three months today. I started today and had a great day. Finally working again and it feels great.

Until I get home and find that an interview that I attended two weeks ago have offered me the job in Sales. It would be a full-time job.

Not a bad start to the week but confused is an understatement. scratchchin

Nearly... only 4 days left to go smile

Dinner tonight will be Tuna Pasta Bake followed by banging my head against a wall shouting 'WHY?' and weeping

wink

Dinner tonight is buffalo wings with fries, followed by coca cola chocolate cake and pistachio ice cream, all made from scratch by her indoors. Well, she didn't lay the eggs personally, or give birth to the chickens.

Anyway, dinner sounds epic, got an hour long PT session at the gym to get through first though.
Oooft!

Medium rare!

Seriously though, young torque- top news!

Do what feels right and don't feel you have to be loyal. Permanent post is probably a better idea.

Why fill the fking washing up bowl with st to the point that you cant get to the water to wash the st up.

Just leave the st to be washed next to the fking sink for fks sake.

BTW by st i mean plates, bowls etc, not turds.

The movie must be at least 90 minutes long, a Rustlers burger takes 90 seconds at the outside.

Sadly it isnt black and white. My role that I started today is more interesting and its the role I would rather be in but I have to bare in mind that it isn't a permanent position.

Meanwhile the permanant position is back in Sales. I do enjoy it and am good at it but I want to try something a bit more rewarding and challenging.

My last role (well documented on here) knocked my confidence in the sector and now I understand that it isn't as stable industry to be in.

Hmm.. decisions, decisions!
