Someone reminds me of notdave.
....and yet you remain as predicable as ever by not actually giving any sort of advice. It is always a put-down or an ill thought out anecdote that you find funny. It may not be the way that you intended but the majority of your posts come across as though you sneer at other peoples circumstances when it doesn't affect you.
Leafspring insurance for work can be a real pita, as I well know Many smallish law firms and sole practitioners really struggle to get affordable professional indemnity insurance or indeed any cover at all.
TorqueR, don't get the hump! LSI was merely giving you shorthand for this:-
"You are 18. You will work until you are 65, probably, if not longer. You have done sales, show talent but don't really like it. You have a chance to gain at least some CV enhancing experience in something you think you will like better. At the worst you will have some experience in your favoured field and possibly a great reference if not a permanent job, if you get lucky. If you take a permanent job in sales now, you may buy a car or take on other committments which will stop you taking a risk in the field you really want to work in, at some point down the line. You will then become a whinging ditherer, hence LSI's comment."
No disrespect to NOtDave, cos I really liked him. As someone thirty year's older, I hope this helps understand LSI's perspective, and mine

Do fk off.It may not be the way that you intended but the majority of your posts come across as though you sneer at other peoples circumstances when it doesn't affect you.
Firstly, I wasn't talking about you, so get your knickers untwisted. secondly, the person I am referring to has had my advice already on the subject. My reference to notdave refers to every step of his life being held back by some minor issue or other.

No probs! Sticks and the wrong ends thereof are a common theme in this place, PH as a whole that is, not necessarily TTNoVetec said:

Favourite lyrics are:
Counting the cars on the New Jersey Turnpike
They've all come to look for America
I concur.Counting the cars on the New Jersey Turnpike
They've all come to look for America
Why are those lyrics so good? ?
It's the bit before.
Kathy I'm lost I said
Though I knew she was sleeping
I'm empty and aching and I don't know why
The next lines should be:
Kathy, it's ok I've worked it out,
I'm going for a glass of milk and an hour on the PS3
I enjoyed doing sex with you, no doubt
But the next hour or so is about me
Yes.
