You're just here to argue TH.
You talked about information, I am curious what you are referring to?

And what do you base that on?
Chance, probability, possibility, the scale of the universe and our little place in it, the fact that we are flawed.

I see no reason why you should consider us the most complex. I see no reason why something more complex does not exist. I see no reason why that thing needs to be a supernatural being.

I see no reason why it shouldn't be. After all supernatural is something outside our sphere of understanding, and that sphere is always growing. What we once thought impossible is now possible.

But as it stands we are the most complex no?

Are you religious or do you think we were created by aliens?

If anyone wants to read a fairly interesting and easy to understand analysis of the major subjects of evolution and the major issues that people who do not believe in evolution come up with (evolution of the eye, the comparison to a watchmaker etc.) I strongly recommend The Science of Discworld III, Darwins Watch.

A reasonable story interwoven with some good science, with further references to investigate.

But please, know the difference between a hypothesis and a theory first.

What is your criteria for complexity? Humans don't have the largest genome. The Common Toad has a genome almost three times greater than humans.

The most complex in what context? Of our world, our galaxy, the universe?

I didn't imply we are the most complex.

The big bang created everything... including evolution

No one knows what force created the big bang

I shall call this unknown force God

God created everything

If we are on the path of evolution it is fair to say that we might not be at the end of that path, if there is an end at all. We have advanced over time, we will carry on advancing, we may even regress. Why would it be impossible for beings somewhere in the universe to be at a stage far in advance of our own? Perhaps life on this earth was created by aliens yes, it's not impossible. Why would my religion be any of your business? Do you like dinosaurs?

Stifle debate?

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

500 pages of the same stagnant crap.
This is going to be just a complete re-run of that with no side changing their minds on anything.

I don't disagree with any of that. None of it goes any way to suggest a supernatural god, however.
