The lovely sunshine earlier reflected into my eyes, after it bounced off the metal of my Jaguar's gear selector, and the polished wood trim. This was mildly irritating for a few seconds.

'Lovely sunshine'? Pah! It has been 38c in the shade every day for two months here! grumpy

Just yesterday I was in the garage fitting a new radiator to my hot rod (due to overheating problems) dripping sweat hither and yon. frown

The problem: Should I have one electric fan pointing at me to, prevent my body melting, or do 3 fans work better in triangular formation, or do they simply cancel each other out??

Or should I simply air-con the whole workshop??? confused

Flying to Bahrain tomorrow night for 3 days, flights, hotel, transport and food all paid for. Downside? I will be looking after 15 Ducati Panigale 899 race bikes (as a hobby, my day job has nothing to do with racing).

We've changed to having cleaners in every two weeks, rather than weekly. Oh the shame.

Doc says I must consume more fibre. I now regularly eat All-Bran, apples and walnuts. Unfortunately a side effect of this is excessive trumping in the workplace. There have been several complaints.
Surely that's a bonus. Plenty of ammo for crop dusting runs and lift mines. smile

I have a company golf tournament in a couple of weeks. Question is which 1 of the 2 sets of clubs do I use (not used either for about a year so will be rubbish with either set)?

The cheapest set obviously, if you are gonna be rubbish you dont want to show up with a posh set of clubs and get taken for a poser with more money then skill

I just bought a TVR Tuscan but then had to head out on a 5 week business trip including Germany, Singapore, Australia and India. frown
Now, my trip may change and may miss cancel the Australia leg and head to India one week earlier and stay two weeks rather than one.

My finances are tight and my next trip I'm flying premium economy class instead of business class like I normally do.

i'm presuming this is in some kind of foreign land expat community.... or perhaps yes you have to pay her £50 a month but then you kind of need to adopt her basically, feed, board... basically like having another teenage daughter who has £50 pocket money. Sounds less sexy when you say it like that.

His profile says he lives in the Philippines so that might not be slave wages over there. Still pretty crappy that you can lose your job for being too attractive though. It's like Joseph from the bible all over again!

I think I'd struggle to have servants. I've Indian friends who say it's pretty normal over there even for the middle classes thanks to the low cost of Labour, but I think I'd end up raising a full-on Commie revolutionary if I had someone paid to clean up after me. laugh

Still, it'd be the first thing I arranged as soon as I moved out there!
