I have halogen spotlights in the ceiling of my bedroom. When I lounge back in the executive office chair at my gaming desk to play on my ps4, they reflect off of the shiny D-pad surface of the controller straight into my eyes.
I don't know what to do, it's terribly distracting
You know how some posts make you think the Third World can't be that bad if you have friends. ^^^I don't know what to do, it's terribly distracting

Have you considered a matt black wrap for the controller?
I'm looking at some now, or even considering just colouring over the shiny bits with a black marker as a redneck solutionmoleamol said:

Being so well off we have stuff we almost never use, & can never remember where we put it so carefully all those years ago.
Do you think I can find the extra long socket I bought 7 years ago to reach the top nut of the Spax adjustable shock equipped struts on my TR8. God I must have put that away so carefully.

I just updated iTunes, checked for software, downloaded, rebooted. Three seconds later a window popes up 'Checking for updated software'.....
I just did a full scheduled scan with Microsoft Security Essentials. Three seconds later a warning sign is on the tool bar short cut 'Your computer is at risk, you have not done a scan recently'....
Don't they have something programmed in to tell them that they just updated themselves??????
When I click on the link, and a window pops up, 'do you really want to open the link you just double clicked?'
I click 'Yes, I really fkin' want to!' and then Windows chimes in 'You have requested to open this link. It may endanger your life and those around you' or some such drivel.
How long before we have to sign a disclaimer and post it off to Microsoft??????

Do they know?I have a massive first world problem.
Currently, my MX-5 is blocking my 370Z in on my extensive driveway. I want to take the latter to work tomorrow but don't want the hassle of moving cars around in the morning. Right now, the Rover is looking like the winner for tomorrow as it's not involved in the pileup but it's only got a sunroof as opposed to being a convertible or having 350+bhp.
Naturally I won't be able to sleep tonight, this is undoubtedly a major disaster.

I put a bottle of water on my desk when I got in this morning but it's now not as cool as I'd like it after I got distracted for a couple of hours.
I've run out of beer, so do I send a neighbour to buy another case, or do I engage a local vehicle to take me to the local gogo bar street? Ten pounds for a case of beer, or one hundred pounds for an evening in the 'city', surrounded by semi-naked females and military men. The local government have requested the United States of Whatever support them in a battle with China over some small territorial issues, thus the overwhelming competition by young, strong, brutal fighting men of American ilk....
