I couldn't decide which setting to have my heated seat on in the car this morning...
My heated steering wheel only warms the 9 and 3 o'clock positions. When I drive at the 10-2, only the edges of my hands get warm.

Had to fill the tank on the hot rod again, 35 litres, I asked the petrol dispensing operative for 1000piso worth.(£15)

IT DIDN'T FIT!

So I had to wait while the guy went to get change! rage

There was a time when I could easily fit it in and not need to waste time for the attendant to run to the cashier!

And there are people who think cheap fuel is a GOOD thing! rolleyes

My ice maker in my fridge dispenses too much ice which makes my breakfast smoothie too cold. Brain freeze is no fun at 06:45.

Have to make sure I get out of work on time this evening so I can go for a nice meal with good company and then go to a comedy gig. Don't think I can take the time pressure smile

They're resurfacing my road with no access 8:00-18:00 so had to park a car 160m away to be able to use it during the day.

The parents are currently moaning about having to write the cheque for a £165,000 tax bill...
surely that's not very FWP. The correct thing to do would be to just structure everything in the years preceding so that the bill would never need to exist. Too late now eh?

My log burner installation should be complete today, just as it's turned warm and wet again.

Is it the first time they have ever made profit, otherwise surely they would be use to this sorts of cheques.

Soon you'll have the related 1WP - "it got so hot with the wood burner on we had to open all of the windows and doors".

Nail. Head.

Attention whoring at it's most tedious. I genuinely think he has some sort of problem.

I thought it was from the sale of the business, so a one-off. Tax on profits in prior years could have been less eye-watering.

Well my parents never had a bank account or cheque book throughout their whole lives. Father kept everything, which was just enough to pay the bills and feed themselves, in a brown case on the top shelf of the wardrobe, with envelopes inside marked up for, electricity, housekeeping, rent etc.

How that for a first world problem wink

We did live in a council house, moved in brand new in 1957. Parents lived there till they both died. Metal window frames, no central heating, I moved out when I was 20 wink

In fairness to his parents, I think their tax bill is the least of their problems - first world or not.

First world? Practically medieval.
