I just got a short shift kit installed on my 130i, but the shifter is now so short it's hidden behind the handbrake lever. What's the fking point.
Well, not that!

Short shift kits are generally to reduce the throw, not to make the stick shorter laugh

Got any pictures of it?
It's the offical BMWP option. It does reduce throw (via a new gear linkage), but also shortens the stick. I admit I mostly got it because it looks cool.

Blimey the auto dial on our Evoque rises up higher than that!

I was called out to work today and there was no real requirement for me so I came home early. They paid me double time for the whole day plus a call out. Rubbish.

In my M & S pot of Nectarine and Berries one of the blueberries still had a little stalk on. And it went in my mouth.

Binned it all. bds. Ruined my first day back after holidaying. FML

i've been spraying roundup path clear, and it said if i pump the pump 20 times this should create enough pressure for 3 minutes spraying. It was more like 1 minute IF THAT. fk modern life.

My apologies if this should be in the Bangernomics thread, I am faced with a bit of a conundrum today. Should I trade in my 9 month old 991 GTS for a 2 1/2 year old 991 Turbo S. Just to add some context, they are the same colour so that makes it a bit easier.

The steering wheel control for the stereo on the DD seems to have picked up an intermittent fault. So now I don't know if I go for volume up it'll either increase volume as expected or unexpectedly change track.

I actually have to take an arm off the wheel and reach for the control on the stereo to be certain, except I keep forgetting, go for more volume and sometimes get "next track" instead, try and go back a track and it skips to the next disk. frown

It's not a serious enough fault to take it into be looked at before a service but it's really beginning to get annoying.

National tyres didn't have the tyres I ordered in stock so gave me an upgrade to what they did have in stock as a FOC inconvenience compo (unasked for) which should have cost £100 a corner extra

probs means you were paying way over the odds in the first place, but i guess it's not very first world to waste valuable time trying to get a good deal!

Wife wasn't happy tonight as I had to pick the dog up from 'doggy daycare' (don't ask) due to her having to work late and hence we had to swap cars.

That meant her having to drive a V8 Vantage Roadster home under clear blue skies........oh the humanity.

Not at all, I have it on good authority from my man-servant it was the best price available after comparing all the usual tyre comparison websites
