National tyres didn't have the tyres I ordered in stock so gave me an upgrade to what they did have in stock as a FOC inconvenience compo (unasked for) which should have cost £100 a corner extra
probs means you were paying way over the odds in the first place, but i guess it's not very first world to waste valuable time trying to get a good deal!
Not at all, I have it on good authority from my man-servant it was the best price available after comparing all the usual tyre comparison websites
if only there were tyre comparison website comparison websites... there's a PHFWP for you.

I just got a short shift kit installed on my 130i, but the shifter is now so short it's hidden behind the handbrake lever. What's the fking point.
It's the offical BMWP option. It does reduce throw (via a new gear linkage), but also shortens the stick. I admit I mostly got it because it looks cool.

...also, it serves as a continuous reminder of how weak my left arm is.
One of these will solve your problem and still looks cool.... hehe

Why the fk would you do this to a S2000, the S2000 has to be one of the nicest gear changes?

I rather think that is the 'short armed midgets conversion', rather than 'short throw'......thus the offset aft..

Wife wasn't happy tonight as I had to pick the dog up from 'doggy daycare' (don't ask) due to her having to work late and hence we had to swap cars.

That meant her having to drive a V8 Vantage Roadster home under clear blue skies........oh the humanity.
I do wonder why she sticks with you, with that kind of spousal abuse.... hehe

I'm about to go off on a long trip, but I'm a very fast reader. Oh, and I don't like e-readers - I infinitely prefer proper books.
As a result, I need to get this little lot into my hand luggage...

The "flagship killer" mobile phone I've just ordered is too popular so the manufacturer have paused shipping to allow them to catch up.
This means I have to wait a further 2 weeks before it'll be shipped.

Clearly some people live their life in a different world to me. 2 tiny pin holes! Staggering.

That's not a first world problem, that's a parallel but close dimension problem. Called dickworld I should imagine.

Proper FWP this morning. I arrived at work and went to park in my usual parking space, and found that a homeless man had pitched his tent in it.

The FWP problem here is that a risk assessment has probably not been completed and signed off.
