I had to top the beans up again this morning in the coffee machine. The person who used it before me would have known. Does this warrant a written warning? It isn’t the first time this has happened.

I have to renew one of my three passports later this year. Outraged to have to get a fresh little-blue-book-that-lets-me-go-everywhere.

I just had to help a colleague find some cardboard/bubble wrap as the bottles of Prosecco were rattling in her car boot and causing irritation.

Are you married to the culprit? If so, you know the answer.

It doesn't matter how deeply invested you are in the First World or how much money you have, it's always cold getting out of the shower.

Work related. Slumming it at home with a Vertuo Creatista for the above reasons.

I can't put my leather heated seats on when wearing my Barbour coat because it will melt the wax. It really is tough some mornings.

Can’t you have a word with your driver and ask him to have the car warm before he picks you up? What are you paying him for?

Does not compute. Simply turn up the underfloor heating a bit more?

The thing that irritates me about showering is how cold the shower gel is. I need a heated shower gel container.

Just discovered as I woke the household up that the en-suite toilet in my brother in laws spare bedroom is not fitted with a soft close seat.

Now we're getting somewhere. Fighting the latent heat of vaporisation with money. Take that, physicists.

Buy a sponge. Soak the sponge with warm shower water, squeeze most of it back out, then put a generous spurt of gel onto the sponge. Rub the gel gently into the sponge with your fingers. You’ll use a lot less shower gel, be cleaner (as the sponge is better at removing bodily dirt than your hand), and it isn’t cold.

Sponges are a bit disgusting, I have one of these things which I unscientifically believe is less of a petri dish.

Only if you use the same ones for ages. But they aren’t expensive to replace, and mine gets soaked in soap every day anyway and wedged somewhere to dry out thoroughly.

Wedged behind the Shower Room Gainsborough.
