Visiting Gaydon and upon take off lost tail rotor authority, I was a newish pilot on type and not enough experience to recover - but any landing you walk away from in a helicopter is a good landing I'm told. Its just one of many of this type to meet its end in this way but we were lucky where others were not.

Bet that was bloody scary all the same, heli crashes are a terrifying sight let alone what it must be like for the occupants.

As it's a gazelle the Blue Thunder theme tune would be more appropriate biggrin
