Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the second PH Secret Santa thread.
This year follows on from our highly successful SS thread of last year: PH Secret Santa 2012
If you would like to participate this time round, please read the wall of text below that outlines the rules. Please try to adhere to them where possible and if you have any questions, just ask.
The basic format is thus:
Secret Santas are arranged in a series/chain format i.e. A --> B --> C --> D etc, so nobody will know who has whom (expect me).
Rules as follows:
There may be occasional updates to the rules above, please keep an eye on them.
We had a 99% success rate last year, with only one person not receiving a gift (which was coming from the Philippines) from 50 participants. I would like to maintain this high standard, so if you are not 100% sure you can participate, then don't sign up.
If you need to withdraw before the close date, drop me an email.
If there are any issues, PM me and I'll do my best to sort it out.
We'll create a table in here of those involved, similar to last year.
The spend is set at £10 plus P&P. I know for a fact that some people spent more than that last year (it's easy when you get caught up in the excitement). It's really up to you how much you spend, but £10 is the target cost.
Most importantly; enjoy it, it's a lot of fun.
If I've missed anything. I'll update shortly.
I may occasionally be unavailable, in which case Deputy Doofy will be around to help.

- Starting from today, register your interest by send me a PM with your details on (summary of required details is in the rules below).
- On the 4th/5th of November you will receive an email with your gift recipient's (read target) details.
- Stalking of your target can then commence. Checking through post history, getting to know your target and learning about them is all part of the fun. Use this info to decide on a perfect gift for them.
- Once purchased, wrap your gift and post to target. Target spend is £10 plus P&P.
- Drop me an email to let me know it's been dispatched.
- Sit back and wait until Christmas when you can open your gift!

- Secret Santa, add your name to the list and then pop me a PM with your username, real name, address, a small list of likes/dislikes and whether NSFW things are acceptable (nobody wants to open a box containing a dildo in front of little Johnny on Xmas morning).
- Anybody with allergies or things, please mention in the email.
- Target spend is £10 + postage.
- There are a few international PH'ers involved. If you don't want to pay that little extra for postage please say in your email. If you are a kind hearted soul and actually want an international PH'er then please say this (You never know, one good present and you could have a free holiday home. I know Adenauer lives by the 'ring...). Any secret santas without a preference will be used in the case there are not enough people volunteering to do it.
- Closing date is 6pm Friday 1st November, on the Monday/Tuesday (4th/5th) I will issue everyone an email with the details of your secret santa.
- Non-senders will be named and shamed.
- If a person has specifically requested NOT to receive a certain gift (a common example being a dildo), please do not send them it. As Papa Hotel has quite rightly said IT WOULD BE BAD FORM (repeatedly)...
- Also, if you haven't received a gift let me know. Christmas mail is busy and some of the post to international PH'ers may take longer.
- All record of addresses will be destroyed after secret santa is completed.
- Photographs of received gifts on here after Christmas.
