It does, however, highlight the biggest issues with fully-electric vehicles and convinces me that they're not anywhere near ready yet for those of us who do longer journeys. The Vectra driver parked in the electric charging bay is a who deserves to be shot - I would be livid to turn up needing a charge to find I couldn't get to the charger because some selfish ahole had taken the space. Also from what they said it took them 8 hours to travel around 160 miles, a trip Google reckons is 2h40m. Fine if you're retired and have all the time in the world but I'd rather get where I'm going.
If I were to consider an electric car it'd have to be one with a range extender so I could continue on on petrol if needs be.
