Stumbled across this on Vimeo due to removing "cars" from their category search furious anyway caught my eye as I live in the area and actualy quite an interesting POV of Leaf ownership.

Nice gentle film for a sunday morning.
Nice couple (he sounds like he should be a presenter of some sort, his tone and style are brilliant).

It does, however, highlight the biggest issues with fully-electric vehicles and convinces me that they're not anywhere near ready yet for those of us who do longer journeys. The Vectra driver parked in the electric charging bay is a who deserves to be shot - I would be livid to turn up needing a charge to find I couldn't get to the charger because some selfish ahole had taken the space. Also from what they said it took them 8 hours to travel around 160 miles, a trip Google reckons is 2h40m. Fine if you're retired and have all the time in the world but I'd rather get where I'm going.

If I were to consider an electric car it'd have to be one with a range extender so I could continue on on petrol if needs be.
Agreed - that journey they did I would do non-stop both ways, and not fill up at all. Whilst the electricity might be free, they don't take into account the fortune they spent on food/drink/crap at the multiple services. Until electric cars have more range that you do (i.e 3-400 miles plus), they are a no-go.

I'm ashamed to have only just realised that's an Insignia, not a Vectra,

Krumping (dance)

First 40 seconds is intro talk, and the skinny guy isn't as good (to these amateur eyes) as the big dude, but still amazing how people can move like this. I have no idea if this is a competition or what though- how can you judge something with the audience charging in all the time?

Why?

I might start a thread on this NSFW rubbish. How many people are allowed to use non-work related websites. Cars, cats or bikinis I would sack anyone watching either at work!

A lot of people browse PH at work on their work computers. Clicking on a link described as Jingle Bells one probably wouldn't expect to see a half naked bird jiggling her tits around. It's more a courtesy thing than anything else.

Stop being argumenative.

If someone said "jingle bells" as a description of someone getting shanked, we'd take offence. This is why the topic says "MUST HAVE DESCRIPTIVE TITLES".

Follow the rules of sod off. My work don't mind me watching the odd car video that is linked here (I can usually tell what's what as people are nice and leave good titles), but don't think they'd like that video being watched.

Most companies I have worked for allow the use of work computers for personal use - as long as it's done in the employees break or lunch times.

What you are allowed to view however very much depends on the company. The video you linked to could be taken as offensive by some (not necessarily the viewer) and so it's simply good manners to indicate that the video might be better viewed in private with a NSFW tag so that the viewer doesn't inadvertently get into hot water.

I had my wrist slapped a couple of weeks back by the mods for an oversight along those lines.
