what am i looking at. computer generated room what is the significance?
It appears to be rendered in real time. Unreal Engine has really come along.
Yep - real-time rendering at photo-realistic levels. The lighting especially is exquisite.

That is very good and I concur regarding the lighting.

I wonder what set up you'd need to run that in real time?
Not all that good apparently:

Desktop PC or Mac
Windows 7 64-bit or Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later
Quad-core Intel or AMD processor, 2.5 GHz or faster
NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX or AMD Radeon 6870 HD series card or higher
8 GB RAM

Certainly pokey, but not stupid money.

EDIT: Stupid video content - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrN-GPYlcbQ

That is very good with a video card which isn't really being sold anymore. The lowest spec I can find on Novatech is a GTX 750 for £80 odd .

This would be amazing with an Oculus Rift.

Yeah but it's pretty static in those videos. Slightly different when you are holding an AK47 in-game and blowing everything to pieces in a destructible environment ..

That lighting looks prebaked/offline rendered. Looks nice though.
