Coverage of this story from China in Thai media states that the boy was being looked after by his grandmother at the time. The owner of the vehicle that broke the boy's fall heard a noise and went to investigate but couldn't see anything. He then looked at the CCTV video and saw what had happened. Unfortunately the boy's grandma insisted that the boy had been with her all the time and refused to look at the CCTV images, it took the return of the boy's father (who agreed to take a look) for a trip to hospital and confirmation that the lad was essentially unhurt.
