I've emailed Mr. Patterson's office. I'll let you know how it goes.

I wouldnt say BT's Customer Service is shocking, but your experiance sounds like it could have been improved.

You can try Twitter, they also have a Facebook Page where you will also get a response, there is a team who can help you.

Demand and the weather is having a major impact on OpenReach hence contract workers are being employed to help.
Funny but I would have said that it was utterly shocking until I had a contract with TwerpTwerp. Now I just find it utterly unfit for purpose.

NarrinRad I could name at least a dozen people living close to me who would confirm that BT's customer service is shocking but perhaps wouldn't be so polite. My problem didn't even need an engineer just someone who could update your address database to show my address correctly. Yet after numerous calls they were still trying to post my router to 3 Isle of Skye, and couldn't understand why that was annoying me. Then as compensation they sent me vouchers to use at a shop which is a six hour drive away and which couldn't be used online.

^^^

yes

Not sure who they bought their address database off but let us say that my address is:-

1 Jones Square
Derick Road
Allshire
England
AL3 9HG

Their system always defaults to:-

1
Derick Road
Allshire
England
AL3 9HG

regadless of the fact that a) my house has been there for 15 years now. and b) the postcode for 1 Derick Road (which does exist) would actually be AL3 9AA.

frippin muppets.

Yet I still have to wait four weeks or more for a basic copper connection and my 7Mb/s internet.

Well, a BT Openreach van just turned up unannounced which is a bit of a result so far. At least I haven't had to wait a further two weeks for the next appointment!

However I did have to explain the saga to the driver all over again. Hopefully I've got him here until it's sorted. I'd hide his van keys if he wasn't going backward and forward to the cabin on the main road.
