It's a pity the moderator didn't practice what he preached and delete it due to poor grammar.
Practise. It's "practise" .
It's 'owing to', not 'due to'.

One that always makes me see red is "You can't underestimate..." when it should be 'overestimate'.
I have heard "overunderestimate" before...

...from the same young lady who said "edumacate" and watched Countdown on video so she could pause it to complete the puzzles...

When being interviewed, the staff at Manchester United always refer to it as "Mancher United". Winds me right up, it does.

I had a grown man of approx' 30 come into my shop and ask me if a tin of Heinz spaghetti was 'Propah basketti'. I have never had a harder time trying to hold my tongue.

The "Santa bought me bugger all" depends on whether you believe Santa makes all the presents (with his elves, of course) or, the possibility that Santa BUYS the presents, in which case "bought" is correct

And yet another new year has passed with the traditional murdering of Auld Lang Syne by the English.

Either sing/recite it properly or fk off and write your own.

My OH's Nan used to say 'going off on a tandem', a friends girlfriend was heard to say 'he's as happy as a sandbag'.

Come on people, it's hardly rocket surgery is it?

Sleater Kinney are on the 6 Music playlist at the moment, the DJs can't seem to decide on the pronunciation. Some say Sleeter Kinney, others say Slater Kinney. Personally I'd go with Sleeter, and Slater does annoy me a bit. Which is it?
