The last 2 pages of the Flemke thread are sickening. I'm embarrassed for some of them on there.
I have to agree, I posted a genuine question on that thread which was completely ignored as they were all too busy flirting with him, it's like they think he'll invite everyone for a drive in it!And there are some threads in the BMW section that bang about the value of the M brand. Some people seem to take it VERY seriously

I've been reading the Caterham forums, one of the posts on here is not so much cringeworthy as it is sociopathic. Plenty of cringe, too.

Ive had 7"s since 1996 and she went out once in my first car a robin hood S7 (think she was embarrassed to be seen in it )from then I had track cars for years so she never went in any of those , but as my cars have become more road orientated last few years we have started going out in them for days out , escapism from the kids! although she isnt that keen, she will tolerate the noise wind and drive as she knows I love driving it and we tend to drive to nice places have a walk and a bite to eat while we are out.
little story ,first caterham Mrs c ever came out with me was my csr260 which had carbon tilletts , anyway we went out a few times no complaints plenty of room and quite a comfortable ride, I sold that in the August and bought my current S3 that I built up over that winter and put it on the road in the April with new leather seats, went out a few times and no complaints big wide seats and comfy, I did a trackday and almost fell out the car as the seats had no hold and after a while they made my back ache, so I bought a set of new carbon tilletts for it, first time we went out for a drive out in the car swmbo was struggling as her arse was a real tight fit in the seat, she twisted all the way to the coast about me re fitting the leather arm chairs ! we ended up having to go to a retail park to buy her a cushion before we could drive home anyway not a way I was fitting the leather seats back in it so I told her she must have put some beef over xmas as they were the same seats as the Csr had fitted and she never complained about those (they looked the same but were much narrower) anyway It worked and inspired swmbo to hit the gym with a goal of fitting into the car, result was Mrs C loosing 3 stone , I kept the carbon seats, sold the leather seats for the same money, she is happy I am happy and power to weight ratio improved too , not sure she would be happy if she ever found out mind
OOOOHHH just noticed that is my 1,000th post on Pheads and its a confession

While it's clear from the outset that he's a bit hysterical and lonely, click on towards the end for the meltdown.

I don't know, you looked like you were playing a part in the "PH race to the bottom" While it's clear from the outset that he's a bit hysterical and lonely, click on towards the end for the meltdown.
A bunch of lonely forumites pining the loss of a man/woman poster, and a bunch of other posters being righteous and telling them how stupid they were. Definite cringe thread.
