he lost weight as he posted in a before and after on another thread.

I think he has some 'issues' from reading his threads, some deep stuff.

You do have to admire the way they manage to get all the disagreements, insults and slagging match all concluded on one page when it would take 14 in here. Must be German/porsche efficiency.

st, you're right. Now there's this really difficult line of, if you've ever done something cool, or want to share an experience (be it business class, holidays, etc.) - how do you do it without sounding like, well, this thread?
Simple. You just avoid writing things like:

Especially with that warm glow from the fine wines in the lounge wink

the characters on there just begger belief, to be fair to the OP on the thread linked he really does attract the nutters. though perhaps not blameless himself he probably didn't deserve the gaggle of GT3 owners waiting to "ava word" at a trackday, what a fun bunch

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

the OP on this thread still knocks around but under different names, it was quite an interesting thread to begin with but when he didn't get the answers he wanted he started inventing other users to back himself up-then the usual "oh it was workmates logging on at my computer" craic hehe

most of them are though Gary, its where I made most of my money, made me concentrate on the quality of my work rather than speed as the rewards were high, not many people or areas spend £20k on front doors, C. Cliffes, Sandbanks, Branksome & that place up near Ringwood opposite side to Matchams, Avon castle? and most of Surrey were big spenders in the early years of the property market growth.

tbh most of the people were really nice to as long as you went the extra mile for them smile

Yes is is Avon Castle.

I do know what you are saying about the money spent although I'd wager people are less likely to din that these days.

But what do I know - my front door is costing about £1200 wink

The first few pages of the Jimmy Savile thread are pretty cringeworthy in hindsight.

Read the first few posts to get a general idea, then skip to Gazunder's post on page 12.
Oh dear. Damn I seem to recall posting to him about one of his cars. Very sad.
