That company should realise thought that this crap puts people like me off ever using it.
Agreed, doesn't matter who is right or wrong if a company chooses to open up a line of communication via social media then they are committing to respond whether said communication is good or bad.Totally ignoring someone who seems to have a simple grievance sends out a very bad impression.

Yep. Lining, decent sole and buckle/adjuster are worth paying for. A Hunter badge, IMO, isn't.
Good quality Dunlops are a joy to wear.
A joy to wear?Good quality Dunlops are a joy to wear.
You put on your wellies and think "Joy!"
That's unusual.
Yep, in a situation where wellies are appropriate, then they are a joy to wear compared to cheap and nasty boots, work boots, riggers etc. When ankle deep (or deeper) in mud, putting the boats in or out of the water, trudging across the clay shooting ground, building site, fields or creeks, then yes. Do you prefer trainers where most people would wear wellies? That's unusual!
The Belgian GP thread rates a mention :
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
73 pages and counting, can be summed up as
"Nico is a dirty cheat who deliberately crashed into his teammate, but the FIA hates Lewis and won't do anything"
vs
"Lewis is a whining git who should man up and accept accidents happen"
Throw in a good handful of abuse and personal attacks by both sides, and repeat for page after page after page.
The fact that the race was won by someone else, after a brilliant drive, has barely got a mention.

Do I prefer trainers? No. An odd conclusion to jump to.
I lived on a farm for 5 years. I have some neoprene HKM wellies that saw a lot of use, as well as some better, more comfortable, waterproof rigger boots for working in the field etc.
I wouldn't ever use the word 'joy' to describe wearing them though. You did, that's fine, I'm glad your footwear was able to bring you so much happiness.
I just thought it was a bit unusual, that's all.
I think it's unusual (or maybe a bit pompous) to reply to forums just to make a point that you find something unusual. I lived on a farm for 5 years. If you find riggers more comfortable than decent wellies for working outside in mud then that's up to you. I don't. Why you'd make a point of commenting on it, however, I don't know. That's probably where 20k+ posts come from.
Anyway, round and round we go.

I must spend more time inside than you, at my computer, since I don't find my footwear as joyous as you do. This was a very funny thread. Then the representative of the Basingstoke tourist board turns up
