The thread encapsulates the whole Aston forum for me.

I used to go on their a bit just to nose through pics of the nicer cars (V600s, vanquishes etc) but it does seem that the majority of owners are totally incapable of seeing why anyone would be stupid enough to consider any other lowly make when they could own an ASTON. Considerably more fanboyish, or just cliquey and smug, than M3 owners, V-Tec lovers or anyone else.

I think the amount of utter tripe and complete nonsense that gets posted deserves ridicule. I've also met cotty, seemed like a nice chap but certainly takes the internet too seriously.

It really deserved more exposure, it should have been posted in the lounge on its own rather than stuck in a geeky sub forum and then linked to from a thread that most people have long abandoned for being cringeworthy itself.
