Ah the bad bits of PH.

I wonder if most of the negative people over there research it all on the web and don't actually own a watch!

that Micheal Gould is a right tosser isn't he. Tag, second rate watches, i am not a watch fan but wouldn't call them second rate.

Watch thread is a very very ugly part of PH, probably the worst.

Some really horrible little characters loom in there who form a clique of absolute wkers.

I hate to say it, but in my post party season 'let's waste time pootling about on the internet' day I'm inclined to answer "all of them" to the cringeworthy question.

For example:

1) Something about a home-made car port caused all of the Hyacinth Buckets to burst out of their Barrett box front doors and call for a re-incarnation of Matthew Hopkins to burn the working classes.

2) Someone else attempted to ask a sensible question about car covers. The led to all of the silly boys from the first one to leap in and carry on insulting the car port.

3) A perfectly legitimate enquiry about a Nissan truck invoked an argument concerning who, of two parties, knew more about physics! Then it got personal.

I haven't even mentioned the 'car versus wife' argument yet......

However I lack internal/real sources of despair in life so occasionally have a trawl to re-establish some kind of realist datum. Goodnight one and all.

Do we now need a thread to call out the instances where PH posters are actually helpful or civil to one another? biggrin

I used to really dislike him. Then I realised he's just overcompensating for the fact all his money is from his wife. Now I just pity his need to boost his self esteem by insulting others.

Poor fella.

The Uncringe. It'd be a good thread, potentially - but I don't dare start it for fear of what may follow!

"Bug out". As used in the "Go Bag" thread.

People really think they're 1980's fighter pilots that sound cool using that lingo? I can't imagine anyone saying "Where's my bug out bag?" in a fking Rotherham accent, and sounding cool.
