Oh come on! I'll blame the phone for the typo and the quote I pinched from Stewart Lee.
Stewart Lee is my comedy hero, I'll be seeing him in March. Nothing he says is cringeworthy.

room with a Stew? - without a shadow of a doubt, the master and craftsman of delivery.

...it was slightly cringeworthy that I pinched one his lines for this thread. But if you've read the Ling v MB drivel it is very fitting.

Do people seriously doff their caps to other people on the internet?

Either that or someone is lying on the internet. Which never happens. #chapeau wink

This is the cringe thread, not the tt thread.
It really does seem to be the smug keyboard warrior thread, smarmy s hanging out congratulating one another on being s.

I just saw the title to this one, I haven't clicked on it yet but I can only imagine what it will be like a few pages in...

Would you "carry" if allowed to, i.e. guns ?

I agree, that's the second time I've seen a post from markmullen that has very little cringe in it.

Alright, maybe that one had a little cringe in it compared to no cringe at all in the previous one but I still don't think it really fits the title of the thread, it isn't 'most cringeworthy'.

The whole thread is embarrassing:

John McClane said:
Yes, I have a long background in firearms and am confident I could safely carry one without posing a risk to myself or others. It's like anything based on survival, you hope you won't need it but if you do you'd be grateful you had it. I spend quite a bit of time on powerboats, I hope to never need my lifejacket and never have yet but I still wear it, very similar to how I would view a concealed carry.
Mrs D couldn't believe that one wasn't TiC.
