Was just being silly with your name there. That said, it seems like you don't post about it too much as I don't remember anything said. I think I mention Norway way too much in my posts though!
Enough already.

These are such lovely cars. It seems a shame to whack these chav mods on it and spoil a classy slice of Japanese business cruiser.

Not a thread, but anyone watched Impractical Jokers? Very funny, but definitely loads of cringe moments.

The Malaysian 777 crash thread has got the armchair experts coming out in force, people who are making (assumed) statements of fact based on very blurry video, half-released facts, and guesswork. Very cringey.

The to the right of Genghis Kahn elements of PH were out in force basically implying that a truly great US president would be letting slip the dogs of war now. etc etc etc

It is probable that the BUK launchers were "liberated" from former Ukraine Army bases as the Ukraine Army pulled out of Eastern Ukraine - so not necessarily supplied directly by Russia. It is also probable that there will be personnel in the Separatist groups who had received training on the BUK when in Ukraine Army service.

I am not trying to dispel any direct Russian involvement, but I think that the rebel usage of the BUK may have followed a slightly more complicated path than simple "the Russians must have supplied the missile system and trained the operators".
Why he isn't on the first plane out there, telling everyone what and how it happened, I don't know. He's clearly a highly informed and qualified UN intelligence operative.

I don't really see anything cringeworthy there.... just someone giving an opinion and a bit of speculation?

I'm not sure some people on this thread know the meaning of the word cringeworthy.

Thread pruned for legal reasons.

Now grow up and move on, or we can lock the thread. Simple option; and I could not give a toss which option everyone will opt for.
