What did the airbrakes ever do for us?Is it possible for the Sunderland to become too wet?
I mean, at what point does it become less of a plane and more of a boat. The local farmers are looking for a place to shelter their now hybrid sheepducks and I was wondering if we should oblige. If we row it out into the middle of the field, i'm sure they'll find a use for it.

Not only a noble and fitting for Short Brother's finest but also a way of stoppping the senior members from from hooning the old bus through the flooded fields of Olde Englande. Is it possible for the Sunderland to become too wet?

Row it? I'll be damned if we don't beach it at full throttle.
Have you addressed any of this to the Honorary Aircrew?
Certainly have done.
As this is a new venture, it was deemed a 'christening' was in order.
- Pad suggested we throw some sausages at it,
- CM71, lob an empty Stag bottle at the pilot (contents deemed too precious to waste)
- CB suggested we throw venerable Slopes at the propeller (not nice)
- 'ryn (MIA), a piece of Mary Berry choccie sponge cake
- Waugh (MMIA), a complementary BINI keyring and half a tank of screenwash
Overall the only suggestion that met with agreement was the one indicating that afterwards we take one of the sheep as 'payment' and have a jolly decent scoff. If you ask me, it seems to fit with the 'fatted calf' theme for the page.

Dogs of Waugh and BINIS of hate
With no cause, we don't discriminate
Discoveries are to be stripped on down
Our currency is of cake and scones
JABY's plum pants opened up and put on sale
Gather 'round your haggis
For hard cash, we will lie and deceive
Even our masters don't know the TT web we weave
One TT world, it's a battleground
One world, and we will smash it down
One world ... One world
Invisible forums, long distance threads,
Hollow laughter in these threads of dread
Steps have been taken, a silent uproar
Has unleashed the dogs of Waugh
You can't stop what has begun
Signed, sealed, they deliver oblivion
We all have a dark side, to say the least
And dealing in trivia is the nature of this beast
One TT world, it's a battleground
One TT world, and we will smash it down
One world ... One world
The dogs of Waugh won't negotiate
The dogs of Waugh don't capitulate,
They will take your shed for a fair part exchange,
And it must die so the BINI may live
You can knock at any door,
But wherever you go, you know they've been there before
Well winners can lose and things and deals can get strained
But whatever you change, you know the pooch remains.
One TT world, it's a battleground
One TT world, and we will smash it down
One world ... One TT world
or sumfink like that

That album was released on my 22nd birthday (if Wiki is correct)
Loved that album. I liked Radio Kaos too but Roger Waters really disappeared up his own arse while the others proved to him that he wasn't pink Floyd alone.Trivia/

You wake up in the morning
Get something for the pot
Wonder why the sun makes the rocks feel hot
Draw on the walls
Eat
Get laid
Back in the good old days
Then some damn fool invents the wheel
Listen to the whitewalls squeal
You spend all day looking for a parking spot
Nothing for the heart
Nothing for the pot
For a time Radio KAOS was my most listened to CD.
I've seen RW a fair few times now. Never get tired of his music.
