Whilst those things are an irritation, the window is a limitation of cramming toilet cubicles in.

No, the second issue is with the feature tiles still.

Can you spot the second, much more subtle thing that gets me even more annoyed than the obvious one??
The window behind the wall or the mismatched height on the tiling?
Oooh, that single tile which is upside down would drive me nuts!

Nope, I'll need ma clue to the obvious one first!

And as someone who refurbishes a lot of office bogs I am used to all sorts of things irritating people. Perhaps that has made me immune!

Look at the brown patterned tiles that run along the middle of the wall. The one on the RHS of that cubicle is upside down

Absolutely, the one wrong way up tile is very annoying. The tiler must have done that on purpose just for people like us.

But also, there is that second problem with the patterned tiles. You will need to look really closely.

Well with the tiles the patterned bar changes height at the door on the right. The row in the middle of the screen isn't level all the way & has an upside down tile. How many more faults are there?

All sorts of workmanship issues yes but not the part which really gets me.

Perhaps it is too subtle on that photo.

here is a closer shot - have a look at how the repeating pattern at the top of the feature tile is asymmetrical - the repeat does not repeat consistently. Whoever designed that tile should be hung, drawn and quartered! (IMO)

edited to add, that photo shows up even more faults like the metal divider brackets at different heights too...

Yeah the first "horizontal S" on each tile is a different way round to the other 3 on each tile

Shouldn't this be in the "Juvenile things that make you snigger" thread? Am I the only one that see's "69"?

Yeah bang on, the pattern does not repeat correctly.

I don't often venture into the main toilets - I more normally use the special 'executive' toilet in the basement for some more privacy.

Nothing wrong there - The arrow does not mean 'keep right', rather that you are to proceed to the right (as if it was a one way street) and still keep to the left of the road as you do so.

What? Do you work in the public sector by any chance? It's terrible. A typical example of the confused thinking that goes on there.

Perfectly logical to me. Most people see a 1 way system sign and assume it's OK to drive in either lane. This sign presumably covers where approaching traffic has to turn right, but it's not a 1 way system at that point. Guessing, but perhaps the T to the left is the end of a 1 way system (flowing to the right)...

It looks silly, BUT it makes sense: turn right then keep to the left side.

I need to get a photo of what is to the right: one way road, with two lanes......but the left hand land is blocked (by some extension to a building....) so you have to go in the right hand lane....
