They didn't even bother fitting a dust cap...
That was me, I lost it after releasing the 10psi that they over pressurised it with! The trim on the other side was fitted over the valve as I discovered when frantically looking for something to cut the cable ties with before the time ran out on the compressor!MagicalTrevor said:
Not quite what the thread was meant for but...
Somebody got a splash of paint on the floor in B&Q today
I was just walking past when it happened and I had to rush to get out of the way!
I did chuckle of course

There's no such thing as 12am. "ante meridiem" means "before noon" and "post meridiem" means "after noon". Noon itself is neither of those things, it's just noon; I suppose you could argue that midnight is "pm" because it's usually considered to be part of the preceding day (if someone says "midnight on the Monday" they generally mean the midnight at the end of Monday) and hence is after noon on that day.
Quite, but various publishers still use it! Read through a TV guide and somewhere you'll find an example...Edited by kambites on Friday 5th June 09:19

What about the 'L' in lions not being capitalised? The area / network code would surely be five digits, so 03700, then the six digit phone number.
I get that it's symmetrical, four numbers, then three, then four again, but I prefer code then number!

Phone numbers get to me when they are written in this format, as seems to be the norm now.

On this topic, 01179 xxxxxx really grinds my gears. The area code for Bristol is 0117. The area / network code would surely be five digits, so 03700, then the six digit phone number.

The old numbers were prefixed with a 9 so what was 0272 609911 became 0117 960 9911.
The number is often written as 01179 609911 by the hard of thinking.

I wasn't sure whether to go for "maybe" as well...
Yes, that's annoying me at the moment too - one of my frequent pubs has a sign saying "No children allowed at the bar at anytime".Surely the "Larger" is just one for the spelling police thread, rather than specifically an itch?
