Finally bothered to get a pic of this sign. I'm sure it may be grammatically correct but still bugs me whenever I walk past.

Surely the comma is redundant with Limited being on a seperate line?

That's how it's listed on Companies House so whether grammatically correct or not, it's legally correct.

Have you been thinking about that since page 2? wink
Ooooh ya bugger...I didn't think to go back two years to check!!

And to those saying $40.00 and live with the gallons being maybe 10.001...that non-symmetrical decimal point is gonna cause some sleepless nights surely?!
it would be 10.0025 - so it would round up and you'd lose almost .4 cents

Legally or grammatically, still looks wrong. Makes me take a different route from Moorgate in the morning. Then I forget and I go past it and it starts all over again!

I fall foul of that regularly.

the comma is only there because of the "limited"... and all limited companies are listed with companies house, limited isn't part of the name, technically?

I recently had this and everytime I go for the litres, as we get a $0.04 discount from the supermarket and it rounds that up nicely.

On "City in the sky", can't think of a good reason for this.

Looks like a removable section someone's not clicked back in properly. Wouldn't be allowed in a hangar like that normally, from both H&S and aviation regs.

I did think they might have popped around checking stuff like that before letting the cameras in. Was in France, though.

If it is acceptable to abbreviate 'Company' to 'Co.' why not treat 'Limited' likewise - 'Ltd.' Alternatively, 'Company' and 'Limited' perhaps?
