I got a cab ride in the USA a few weeks ago and the steering wheel was in that orientation while the car was being driven!

I kissed the ground when I got out and texted the kids to let them know I was still alive.

Both red buttons should be on the outside, blue buttons on the inside, ie. a mirror-image of the other side? If so, I'd agree.

It looks like the stereo has its own heating system with all the controls mixed and mashed up, or do sony now do car heating and ventilation systems? And the buttons are a bit small.

What car is that?

The car is the new Ford Edge...it is actually quite good apart from the fact the lane assist will try and kill you, so as long as that is turned off it is a good drive!

yes the touch screen now does everything! which is good, but it is here where the problem lies

I agree the red and blue buttons not being symmetrical is annoying.....but the fact that the touchscreen has the buttons in the opposite orientation to the actual buttons is more annoying!

But then you'[d have to change the hot/cold buttons below the seat controls to match, as well!

For a brand new car, it looks a very poorly designed console.

Sony have nothing yo do with it apart from a commercial deal on branding.

Design is all Ford and manufacture is by Visteon
