I timed my old car so that the trip would tie in with the mileage and it would show 200000 and 200.0 at the same time. Indeed so; I admit that I hadn't thought of that. It reminds me slightly of the notice on a sign gantry on a UK motorway which stated: "This sign is not in use" But, but, but.... Isn't a notice a sign? Non sequitur
