^ Tee-hee at Steve/Vince.

Most of the "after" pics look unnaturally over-made-up though, as if they should have stopped the makeover half an hour before the end.

The 'pronunciation of H' one; how is it supposed to be pronounced when reciting the alphabet for example? (or when singing the alphabet song, if you happen to be in that kind of mood)
'Aitch', anyone who says 'Haitch' must be avoided at all costs.
Ahh, gotcha.
I nominated that 3rd post in on page 1. Hanging is too good for people who say haitch.

Why can't this be stamped out? A directive from the Minister for Education, some Charley Says adverts on the TV, internment without trial and roving death squads ought to be able to accomplish it.

Starting an inane question type thread on PH: May you be dipped alternately in acid then in a deep fat fryer.

Mentioning a diesel car's mpg: Double tap to head, unmarked grave, then off to chisel the super glue off your wallet to find the hoarded riches wink

Being a short arse, and the usual extra loud talk to make sure they're not ignored. Would it be considered genocide to just get rid of them all?

1) arrogant people. They feel they are above others and that all humans are not equal - they have this aura if excellence surrounding them at all times (well, they think)

2) attention wes / brats. We all know the type - from the "made in Chelsea" ones to the gobby one at work; attention wes that never let others have their 'moment'. If you've done something amazing they've done it too, but twice as good.

3) inconsiderate people. They only think of themselves and have little to no consideration for others, their belongings or even feelings.

Although these three traits are my most hated, overall I just can't stand bullies. They are worse than any type of personality trait as they often have several bad ones rolled into one person who then decides to target certain individuals for whatever sad gain they have.

Just thinking, in response to my post............

would the posters be

(a) fat
(b) wearing sports clothes to get their blubbery bodies clad
(c) covered in the mandatory tribal/chinese tat's ?
(d) sat wheezing over a computer with a dictionary in one hand ?

its the internet, no one really cares about my opinion, likewise yours. It's all in jest surely ?

1) People that eat or drink in a supermarket before they've paid
2) People that say "snack" or "veggies", the words are like nails down a blackboard to me.
3) People who on first meeting them, proceed to tell you how wonderful they are.

x1000.

I cannot stand it. If your children are so badly behaved they wont sit still for 20 minutes without giving them comething to eat, then 1) be a better parent and tell them they must wait or, at a stretch 2) buy something beforehand and keep it in a bag until needed.

Adults too - I saw some moron in Asda put her shopping on the belt. The groceries ended with an empty packet of Haribo that she's stuffed while walking round the store.

What about if you genuinely are a bit better than everyone else?

I mean, I appreciate it doesn't do to rub it in their faces as that would be a bit cruel, but you can still think it, right?

As an aside, I'm surprised at how frequently arrogance is mentioned here. Can I ask why it bothers people so much? I have several friends I would consider arrogant but it doesn't put me off them really, and as a result of it, they tend to do quite well with girls/work etc. I counter it by simply knowing I'm even better but that's a different story.

My point is, how people perceive themselves doesn't really affect you, so why does it matter?

It certainly affects me if people are arrogant, trying to interfere in my work because they simply assume their way is better. Parking across 2 spaces because they think they don't need to show any courtesy.

How do you know your friends are arrogant if it doesn't affect you?

But what if their way is better?

Because they think they're better than other people. I find it entertaining and quite funny, and I'm sure they would call me arrogant too.

I don't think taking two spaces and not showing courtesy is arrogance though. It's selfish.

If someone comes up with a better way of doings things that's welcome, whether they are arrogant or not. It's when they simply assume it's better because it's their method and refuse to listen when you try and point out their misunderstanding. Non arrogant people don't interfere unless they have a genuine reason for thinking they know better and listen to your explanation.

People who selfishly take two spaces do so because they are arrogant, they assume their interests are more important than anyone else.
