Anyone remember these two kids shows?

Finders keepers (not the Neil Buchanan one)
This freaky statue clock guy used to freak the crap out of me. I think it was about a kid that went into another dimension through a TV or something.

And Half way across the galaxy and turn left, an alien family that come down to earth and try to live undercover but the daughter was the adult or something weird. Also just noticed it looks like Bronson from round the twist in the background!

Which bands did you play in? What instruments?
On TFI?

Finley Quaye - kind of a reggae singer that never actually sung any reggae - a bit of a flash in the pan was Finley. Talented but a bit unstable. I played the guitar on an album he did called 'Maverick a' strike' - co-wrote a couple of things, got ripped off, drugs, mayhem, death, terrible second album - the whole stereotype. I'm glad I did it but it cost me dear in terms of my mental faculties - I am a casualty of the 90's. Started making TV music and library music around 2001/2002 - been doing that since. It's dull but it pays well and I get to make music for a living.

Isn't he some relation to Bob Marley? I might be thinking of someone else though.

Wasn't he Neneh Cherry's brother or something? EDIT, No I was thinking about someone else.

Anyway, I loved Finley Quaye in the 90's, but yeah sadly I was one of the few - one minute he was everywhere, the next it was "Finley who?".

Does 'Badly Drawn Boy' count as 90's? I really liked his stuff too.

I was listening to maverick a strike the other day. Some really good tunes so thanks for that. Googled ol' finners the other day and read some unsavoury stuff about it him which is a shame. He could have done well with his career.

Glad you managed to recover from the ststorm and have a musical career out if it. Do you still session? I'd have thought that would be good to see different bands and play interesting stuff.

Thanks man.

It is a good album I think - it stands up better than a lot of stuff I've done. The guitar solo on 'Even After All' I've always been quite proud of.

I feel bad about what happened to Finley. I am partially to blame in the final reckoning.

I do still do sessions - only ones I really want to do though. Working with Psychemagik at the moment.
