A few days ago I noticed 2 young guys parked across the street for about 30mins who appeared to be looking at my house. I thought nothing of it and went about my business. Five mins later a leaflet was posted half way through the letter box and looking through the window it appeared that one of these guys had posted it and then gone back to the car. I looked at the leaflet and it was a standard Dominoes one ...
Well order a pizza and see if you recognise them...Censorious said:

What I really wanted an answer to is what information is there to be gained by people videoing or taking photos of the inside of a car? we had nothing on display inside the car so why bother?
The young kids I asked were only about 9 so their evidence cannot be totally relied on but I have no reason to disbelieve their claim that the older kids were taking photos/videoing the insides of cars. In fact these younger kids seemed exceptionally bright and polite and knocked on my door 15mins after the event to give me more detail about what had happened.
You haven't got an RS4 interior have you? maybe they're just little petrolheads who liked your car! I'm forever taking photos of cars. My friend has CCTV installed which films only the cars. It was cheap and easy to do, thankfully. But puts ones mind at rest.
i would definitely let local police know about it and start using that security system.
the post idea is good but to properly put thieves off you need more than one post. if they have to remove 2 or more posts per car width its a lot of time and hassle for them.
have you got a disclok or other visible deterrent?
on a lighter note, here's a dodgy looking geezer with a cased joint.

Oddly enough a neighbour of mine has just had her back door smashed in, in broad daylight, by 3 guys
Another interesting point, the police attended and, with the help of a neighbour with keys to the house, found the keys to the S3 after a brief search. The police then removed the keys from the house, wouldn't even leave them with a neighbour so they obviously have proceedures for this type of thing.
