i have woken up after a very rough nights sleep with shivers, bone ache and a throat infection/soft palette pain that is absolute murder.
Most of the quack medicines I look at for coughs/colds/scrubby holes/pimples on the belly contain almost exclusively paracetamol. Go straight for the paracetamol is my advice. Cut out the middle man. Hope you feel better soonish, VF. Keep us posted.
Keep me covered, i'm going in.

Christ, even my skull hurts,

It's murky, muddy, miserable and midgy in Glos today.

For alliterative purposes we are prepared - in this instance only - to accept four comedic mis-spellings. The following has been reviewed by the committee and is deemed to be acceptable:

"It's glurky, gluddy, gliserable and glidgy in Glos today."

Sorry, Ro, Vince got in first. We can't have two walking wounded on the same day. You know the rules. Pull yourself together or develop something really, really bad.

Are you bed-ridden, for example? Is there talk of hot water bottles and/or arrowroot?

Rip that POS Rover engine out and replace it with a proper one and it would be amazing :P
I have to bite here.
Why do you think the rover v8 is a pos?
My Tvr has one, they are very light for their size they are pretty powerful for an old NA engine (mine is approx 230 bhp) and it sounds fantastic, like a NASCAR.
I actually agree a skyline lump would have been a better match with a 240z but there is a good reason the Rover was in production for so long and that it was popular with so many of the low volume car producers from the 60s onwards.

We have managed large WI gatherings in the past with a skeleton crew using the "Dose them up with port and lemon" ploy.

Sigh.
I didn't realise it was Gloucester Or Nearby Alliteration Day.

It's grey, gloomy, gloopy under hoof and gnat-infested in Glos today,

Better?
