Glad I got my eldest daughter an old banger as her first car, it was only a matter of time biggrin

D'oh! How did she manage that? I assume she's OK?

She's fine mate. The car in front of her braked sharply to avoid killing someone crossing a zebra crossing in Adenau, my daughter tried to shove him into the person a little, no big deal laugh

If you had your ears syringed more often that wouldn't happen.

Reeshard, I have read elsewhere that you celebrated your continuing ability to be wheeled by your nurse into an upright position of a morning by purchasing a timepiece.

Slightly slim of detail, though.

Curious minds and all that.

I'm at the hospital for my first session with the hand therapist...

I don't think it's going to be as exciting as I'd hoped.
Hand therapist.

Hand worker.

Hand Job.

Sounds good.
Exactly my thought process. Wasn't to be.

However she was pleased with my hand, scar healing and movement etc. No need to go back. Can start training properly again. Yay.

I was going to, but then remembered one member gets a little sniffy about references to a step to the Reich.

From the ministry of stating the bleeding obvious, 1. Moving at the tale end of pain meds is a bad idea™ 2. Moving when the knee support has moved because the swelling has gone down is also a bad idea™ 3. Attracting the wife's attention by howling in agony is again a bad idea™

Another day wasted by recruitment companies, go here, go there ,with no guarantee of employment.

So the next one that rings me up promising work in a far flung part of the UK they can do one.

Not a happy bunny today.

First 2 drops, both houses with only names.

First has a stupidly small weather beaten sign that is difficult to read from 3 feet away let alone

from the road in a moving vehicle.

Second is down a lane with a completely different name on it.

First was in Dicky Ville or near Newbury shire.........madfuriousfuriousfuriousmadfuriousmad

Sympathise with you, matey. It's an 1.5 hour drive just to get to the motorway for you so, yeah...must be pissing you off.

It's not only that Ro, when I arrive at the destination I'm fked about.
"Oh sorry but you need to see so and so at our other depot".
Or "HR is not here today can you come back tomorrow"
WTF I'd just driven over 200 miles at the promise of an interview from these recruitment agency people and no one knows nothing when I get there.
Petrol is not cheap it adds up after the last two weeks and pissed off with empty promises.

Rant over.
