Another day wasted by recruitment companies, go here, go there ,with no guarantee of employment.

So the next one that rings me up promising work in a far flung part of the UK they can do one.
Sympathise with you, matey. It's an 1.5 hour drive just to get to the motorway for you so, yeah...must be pissing you off.
It's not only that Ro, when I arrive at the destination I'm fked about.
"Oh sorry but you need to see so and so at our other depot".
Or "HR is not here today can you come back tomorrow"
WTF I'd just driven over 200 miles at the promise of an interview from these recruitment agency people and no one knows nothing when I get there.
Petrol is not cheap it adds up after the last two weeks and pissed off with empty promises.

Rant over.
Don't loose faith, fella... just loose that idiot agency.

Which one there are dozens.
I have never used these people before in my 40 years, it's always been of my own back or an employer contacting me, not these monkeys.

I will need to add business milaege onto my car insurance for a job I am (hopefully!) starting soon.
I have recently moved to Hatfield from Torbay and so I decided to see how much car insurance differed from place to place... It's bloody doubled!! £320 cheaper in Devon!

I must admit all my drifting has been in a LWB Land Rover, wearing off road bias crossplies, on extremely wet/icy roundabouts at extremely low speeds hehe

She just won't slide on the Michelin Radials frown

You could hold out a bag with 10 grand of used notes in it and say it's mine if I drive that bend and I still couldn't do it. I could not physically do it.

You are not alone br d, you are not alone, much more than that or a live threat to kill someone dear would probably be the only proposals that would do it wink The resultant recurring nightmares (I have two or three heights related ones a year now, much less than when I was younger) wouldn't be pleasant frown

Not sure if my BiL uses the St Gotthard when driving to Italy.

I don't go through Switzerland on my usual route and don't fancy driving that rollercoaster....nono
