This evening, driving south on the M3 shortly after its commencement in Sunbury, I overtook a...

cyclist.

I rang 999 but the instant I was connected the 50mph signs came up and they'd already heard.

A cyclist. I ask you.

Thinking about it, when I worked overlooking the Chiswick flyover, we used to see bikes every so often but I hadn't seen one for years. I did come face to face with a motorbike on the in slip to the westbound Heston Services once. Luckily, we were both driving on the left and passed one another with me flashing and gesticulating wildly for him to turn round.

Oh, yeah, trivia.

Working in a design consultancy in oil and gas may sound glam but the truth is grimier than you might imagine. The seat next to me wasn’t occupied for a year because the roof leaked. If we were really busy, people sat there during dry spells. And it’s not a tin-pot organisation; the platform we are just finishing isn’t huge but it is the largest new platform in the North Sea for a decade.

So, the grimy truth the oil and gas consultancy world:

The "Kitchen" or "Legionnaires Corner" as we prefer to call it.

Even though it is unbelievably skanky, no one has died of acquired nastiness.

Many Many years ago before I had a car I was passengering in my mates metro heading down to Banbury.
We were fairly surprised to find a portakabin bouncing end over end in the middle lane of the M1.

Watching more In The Night Garden with my daughter.

I suspect I need a line suitcase full of Colombian marching powder to understand it.

After narrowly avoiding a near death/catastrophic collision whilst driving home last night and enduring a cancelled day off (unforeseen circumstances) in a boiling hot office, I am now, after having eaten a nice steak and eggs dinner and listening to some old and nearly (
possibly best) forgotten Numan albums, feeling rather more content with the worldsmile

I'm fairly certain there isn't anything to understand.

Given the size of their family, I suspect that the pontipines are Irish Catholics.

If mrs pontipine took it up the chuff now and then they may have been a significantly smaller family.

I also suspect that upsy daisy takes it up the chuff.

Next time you watch it, try not to think about bumming...
