Wild Wing's fuel tanks are a pair of 500 litre jobbies fitted under the side lockers in the wheelhouse, accessed via the engine cover, which happens to be the wheelhouse floor. Very space efficient, but very awkward to access.
A bit like our old boat/home. A converted 1929 Dutch tug. Lift the hatch in the wheelhouse floor to gain
access to the engine room and work benches. The fuel tanks were down there as well. Two 1000 litre
jobs with no way of cleaning the insides eek To alter them would involve cutting two access holes in the
sides and have covers/plates made that could be clamped/sealed over the holes so as they wouldn't
leak whistle

Still, its the new owners problem now smile

All the way down to about 1/2" across flats. Below that it's microsurgery. However, if you'd said it was fine to take it apart, I couldn't go wrong, I would probably have had a go.

Yes, did I not say? The Boardroom was the garage for the Green Goddess Fire Engine. That's why it's on the ground floor and why the pole dancing pole in the bar has the hole in the floor immediately beneath it. It was the fireman's pole.

My raspberries have gone soft and a little bit furry. Sad thing is, I'm not sure whether that's a euphemism or not.

No, that was because he insisted on riding side-saddle at the gymkhana.
