Did Lynx cure the scuttle shake that Jaguar's own version suffers from. Tickford's cabriolet had a T-roof to stiffen it a bit.
I doubt I'll be hustling it, to be honest, but will let you know smile

Agreed. I was punting it round an airfield. driving
I don't know the later cars at all but certainly, up to the 90s, opulence wasn't what AML were aiming for. They would build a big, powerful car and then lay in some pudding to protect the driver and passengers from vulgar noises and jolts and other upsets, and then added some creature comforts. First and foremost, it had to go, stop and handle in a good, big car, sort of way. Opulence was for Roll Royce or Bentley.

Marvellous. Is TT well established enough to have its own sub fora? If I squint I can see a TT Road Test Forum.

Pretty please.

Jeans a T-shirt and what they call a lounge set (t-shirt and track suit trousers)

First optics in the bar and now a uniform for members attending the Club?

Where will it end?

I can explain the optics. It was my idea.

For pity's sake, man!

Tis our haven from all things commercial and beastly where we can be relaxed - content in the knowledge we are not being judged - an atmosphere into which you have now introduced measuring devices.

A contradiction if ever there was one.

What other function does JAYB serve?
He does a very pleasant pizza, Prosecco and piss-take evening.

Right. The optics.

The man from the weights and measures department came down to the bar. To prevent being busted I filled empty spirit bottles with water and attached optics.

However. The 'free pour' collection remains and I said to the weights and measures man that they had opened in transit and would have optics applied. Honestly.

Just got back from my mate's wedding party. Hoping to hit on some cute bridesmaids. Nope, a dead dog had better fleas. The prettiest one had a tattoo on her boobie.

I'm ooout!

I did give him. as a prezzie, a copy of this months Octane magazine to take with him for his honeymoon. Full of Lotus Esprits, he has them.
