Just seen a parachute come down out of a glider after a collision behind my house. Neighbour says two gliders collided - I only saw the chute. And half a dozen gliders circling over where debris would have fallen.

Emergency services phoned. Neighbour went out and located crash site. Services now out in force. cry

I feel sick. Hope the pilots are both ok...

Blimey, sounds nasty. Hope all is well.

We had 2 Harriers hit each other over our farm when I was a lad. Both pilots were ok after ejecting. Had a bit of a bking afterwards from the CO.

Not heard anything further. I suspect they were from Little Gransden. Awesome airshow coming up it would be awful for another tragic accident to befall them.

Heard lots of sirens and helicopters. But no further news.

Managed all of 3 hours sleep after my nightshift today...

Got up about 1130, put the RR on charge again. Is getting there, dash is lighting up etc. but still won't start so have borrowed some jump leads and will give that a go tomorrow.

Went out on the road bike with no real plan other than a little ride. Ended up doing 31 miles. Which was nice.

Got home and crashed a bit before having to come in to work again.

Do not want to be here...

Does the RR run a Lithium Ion battery? Mine has a special charger just for them.

Sadly Doris Towers has passed away. Always a stalwart of TT with cakes and tea, she is sadly missed from the mess.

We will gloss over the watering down of the spaghetti hoops incident.

I was never comfortable with Doris after I refused the liver on the grounds that I didn't like it and she said I was stupid.

An unsophisticated palate perhaps, but stupid? I mean, I had the potatoes, greens and gravy. What more did she want?

Look, I've got to go and catch up on Breaking Bad. I'm up to Season 4.

Catch up with you later.

Gretchen - hope the news isn't too bad about the crash. Nothing is coming up on internet searches.

No, just the standard AGM battery.

Just been reading the Immobiliser user guide... Think the battery for the fob might need changing too.

Not as bad as when she was buying knock-off Alphabetti Spaghetti from a dodgy dealer in the East End.

Mr Chang did his worst with poor Doris. When you're playing Deathmatch Alphabetti Scrabble, he's got you over a barrel with an Mah Jong tablet. Any 'ghetti gambler's gunna get stuffed with that.

Lesson learned from dear Doris.

The House always wins.

I never usually drink fizzy drinks these days, but just had a 500ml bottle of Dr pepper with dinner at work.

It was nice. But I feel a bit sick now.
